Writing a Thank You Letter is a great way to show your appreciation, and 

gratitude towards the KPMG helpers who helped us at MOTAT!

Dear Miss Parrant, thank you for coming with us anyways →My name is Jaxon and I am in Room 10 at Point England School. Last week on Tuesday, we went to MOTAT. I am writing this letter to thank you for being a helper on our school trip. My favourite part of MOTAT was the coding because it was something I was familiar with.

I liked how we got to fight because the coding in it was amazing, something I’ve never done before. Another part of MOTAT i liked was the trams because I got to learn all about them also I got to sit next to one of my friends

I liked how we went past the zoo and we had to pick people up and we learnt a lot. I really appreciate you helping us at MOTAT because it was a really nice trip and you made it even better.

I liked how our group got to learn history and play games at the tv place and with you it made it much more better

After we had morning tea, we went outside of the dome and we passed this old telephone place then we went towards this little park that had a big but not real train there but there was also other play stuff there.we were gonna go onto the tram but there was no trams so we had to go and wait first. Before we went on the tram we went to the pump house. There was lots of interesting stuff there.

Me and my friends rode on an old train that was nearly 150 years old! (It was called the Tram.) When we were inside the Tram we it was very bumpy and slow, then we started to get faster and then we saw the Zoo. But there were some people that were waiting for the Tram so the driver stopped and they hopped in.

Beginning – how does it start? In the beginning there was the sky father and the earth mother and they had nine children but sometimes you can only see 7 
Middle – what is happening? They loved to move and zigzag around the other stars “man you girls are very annoying” yelled the red star “settle down” says the blue star
End – how does it end? The sky father and the earth gave them a job to be the maori new year and they have been going all around the world.

→the 9 stars of matariki because there are actually 9 instead of 7 stars, Pohutukawa carries our dead to the sky to be stars.  Tupu-a-nuku plants in the ground like kumora and pumpkins.  Tupu-a-rangi represents the forest, birds, berries and trees.  Waiti means the creatures in the freshwater and everything in it like eels.  Waita represents all the creatures in the salt waters and all the creatures in there like fish and sharks.  Waipuna rangi means water from the sky like rain.  Ururangi is the star of the winds.  Hiwi i te rangi is the youngest star and it means to send our wishes for the year.  Matariki is all the stars combined and matariki is 1 to remembering our people who have gone and celebrating them 2 celebrate who we are 3 the future and what we can do to support one another to support our future.In the beginning there was the sky father and the earth mother and they had nine children but sometimes you can only see 7.
