Storyboard extension film festival (W9 T3)
This term at extension we made a story board for the up coming film festival first we had to come up with an idea and then Hunter came up with the idea of a Doctor Seuss book and so he looked at a few books and he found the book Oh The Places You’ll Go and we all came up with ideas but we went with Hunters. We split up the script into groups with our own specific piece of the script the group that I was in I was with Aliana and Cayden we got the very first part of the script which goes
Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
You’ll look up and down streets. Look ’em over with care.
About some you will say, “I don’t choose to go there.”
With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet,
you’re too smart to go down any not-so-good street.
OH!
THE PLACES YOU’LL GO!
and then we had to draw some description for the film crew and the words to tell us what part of the story it’s from. after we cut them out and glued it to the paper. heres a link to all the ideas we made (some of things did not make it into the movie. Link here is what the story board looks like.
It was pretty amazing and I even learnt how to edit a little bit.
