The weird zone (W1 T3)

This week we read a book called The weird zone it is a text about these kids how want to go on a camping trip with their father but the dad is being weird they then figure out that its because the mum isn’t camping with them and the dad doesn’t know how to put up a tent having a negative view on himself saying that he is not practical.

This is my response to text which is where a read a text then answer some questions about the text then put it on my blog.

 

Maramataka

Turning term 1 in extension we learnt and made a Maramataka on scratch.

The Maramataka is really useful when it comes to planting, fishing and harvesting.

The buttons that are in the game are:

The off button – which hides the info and the button named names.

Info – which gives you added information of the game and the Maramataka.

Stop – which stops the wheel from turning.

Names – this button will tell you information about the names which represent something.

Some of the buttons will change if you click them.

Progress report

Kia ora my name is Jaxon today I will show you how I made this gif of ice melting and then the water evaporating.

The earlliest version of this ice cube was when there was a big black backdrop and words that said the lonley ice cube but then i abondon that idea.

At first I desind my ice cube in my cartoony art style but the I look at acual ice and saw they were pretty clear and so I canged the opacity of the ice besides the outline.

To make it look like its melting i just duplicated the layer and made it smaller and smaller and adding a puddle to it I made the puddle.

I added the sun and later some clouds then I added the avaporaion stage then there was a bit of steam at the end.

I made it turn into a solid to a liquid and a liquid to a gas and the atoms move faster when going into differnt phases the atoms go faster.

There is still more so stay tuned for that.
